AUSTIN – August, 01, 2016 – Austin allergist William C. Howland III, M.D., today announced the relocation of his practice to the Twelve Oaks Professional Center in Northwest Austin.
The move, anticipated for October 19, is to a freestanding location with easy surface parking and convenient access from the north and south. Other than the new location and some amended office hours, little else will change for Austin-area residents who have relied on Dr. Howland for 25 years for relief from allergy and asthma symptoms.
Dr. Howland sees patients ages 6 and older for all types of allergic problems, the most common of which is Austin’s notorious Cedar Fever. He also treats those with asthma, hives, allergic rashes, and allergies to drugs, foods and stinging insects. He welcomes new patients and his office accepts most of the health insurance plans in Central Texas.
The new office is located at 11645 Angus Road, Suite A1 in Northwest Austin, less than 3 miles from the original location. The Twelve Oaks Professional Center is near the intersection of Duval Road and U.S. Highway 183. The center was remodeled in 2015 with extensive updates to the exterior and landscaping.
Office hours will likely be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to noon on Fridays. The practice name, Allergy and Asthma Center of Austin, phone number, (512) 345-7635, and website, www.nosneezes.com, remain the same. Likewise, patients will recognize familiar faces throughout the office, as members of Dr. Howland’s staff will also transition to the new location.
“It will be a nice, new office in a great location but with the same in depth, comprehensive care,” said Dr. Howland, who himself suffered from asthma and allergies during his childhood in Austin. Because of this, he finds it especially gratifying to be able to improve patient’s health and quality of life with all the new procedures and medicines now available.
He said, “While we may live in what some consider the allergy capital of the world, we know that with proper treatment most people can feel fine and really enjoy all the wonderful things Central Texas has to offer. I very much look forward to continuing to help patients from this new – and better – location.”
Dr. Howland will continue to see patients at the current AACA location until October 11th.
